Istanbul Obesity Center provides hospital-centred, multidisciplinary care for obesity surgery and weight management. Our experience is organised around appropriate patient selection, experienced surgery, nutrition support and long-term follow-up.
Who we are
Not a general health catalogue—a centre built around obesity care.
Across more than 22 years of hospital and healthcare experience, our work has concentrated on bariatric operations, metabolic treatment, endoscopic procedures and life after treatment. That repeated experience creates one connected care language—from clinical assessment and theatre coordination to discharge and one year of dietitian follow-up.
Lead bariatric surgeon Dr Kenan Afilitak works within the same patient pathway as Mustafa Hekin, Aylin Demir, Damla Yılmaz, Melissa Hekin, Jasmine and Yasemin across coordination, nutrition and interpretation. Responsibilities are visible, and clinical decisions remain separate from travel logistics.
